I have found out that Dropbox has put together a new way to share folders and files to people. Before this there were two alternatives. The first one was to drop the file you wanted to share into the “Public” folder and get the “Public Link” to the file. The second way was to actually share a folder to another Dropbox user, the folder would show up on both user’s accounts, and they would both be able to make changes to the contents of the folder. The problem is that you could not share properly share a folder to anyone else with just “view”, you could only share a specific file or share a whole folder with full permissions.

With this new “Get Link” option you can share a whole folder with only “View” permissions. The user can view the content on the web, download the content as a zip file, and or add the content directly to their Dropbox folder, so cool! To enable this new feature just simply go to this URL and then restart your Dropbox client. Once it is restarted you will see a “Get Link” option for Dropbox on both the client and in the browser.

Now they just need to change to a pricing structure that is more feasible or just change it to what Netflix has setup, a monthly “Pay and watch all you want” service.

If you head on over to Firefox you can now get their latest browser version number 7. The newest version supposivley improves memory handling and is suppose to be faster than some of the other browsers.

Lifehacker wrote:

Firefox 7 improves memory handling significantly, something we noticed in our tests and the folks at Mozilla Hacks pointed out as well-especially when compared to Firefox 6. Firefox 7 boasts a number of other small improvements as well: the http:// prefix is hidden in all places, bookmark and password changes sync near-instantly with Firefox Sync, and the usual round of bug and stability improvements were included.

Although I did not see in the article if its going to be a public release, there has already been news reported that Microsoft plans to release a public beta and maybe this is it.

It is also important to note that you will have to do a fresh install if you plan on using this. You should never use any kind of test software such as beta releases on real environments because they can always fail.

I watch a lot of movies so I’m going to start posting movies that I watched and enjoyed. I will also rate them on a 1 to 10 scale. HIT THE FULL ARTICLE BUTTON TO CHECK THEM OUT!

Transformers: Dark Side of The Moon

Shoud you watch it? Yes, this was a great movie and had a very interesting ending. One thing that upset me was the fact that they switched Fox for another girl, and they made the plot to the story really cheesy on how she came to be. Other than that I’ll give it a full 8/10.

X-Men: First Class

Great movie. I like how they went back to show how the X-Men actually came to be. The movie also shows how a lot of the characters became how they are. For example they show how Professor X became crippled. Overall I give this movie a 8/10.

Hannah

Wow, Wow, and Wow. This was a great movie full of a lot of action in my mind. The main character in this movie, known as Hanna, goes around kicking ass and taking names. I give this movie a 9/10.

Thor

A lot of people did not enjoy this movie. They said it did not have a lot of action was was pretty boring throughout the movie. I will have to disagree with them and say I actually enjoyed the movie a lot. I give it a 8/10.
