Sometimes it can be hard to find the absolute path to a file or folder you currently working in. With this quick and easy trick you can have Finder display the path to the current directory instead of just the folders name. This works for 10.5, 10.6, and 10.7.

To start just simply copy and past the following two commands into the Terminal.

defaults write com.apple.finder _FXShowPosixPathInTitle -bool YES 

killall Finder 

Now when you look at Finder’s Title you will see the full path to the current directory! To turn it off simply copy and past the following code into the Terminal.

defaults write com.apple.finder _FXShowPosixPathInTitle -bool NO

killall Finder

PC world has posted an article saying Microsoft is going to release Windows 8 preview tonight at 8PM Pacific time. The release will be in a form of an ISO file in either 32bit or 64bit on their developers site. Although I did not see in the article if its going to be a public release, there has already been news reported that Microsoft plans to release a public beta and maybe this is it.

It is also important to note that you will have to do a fresh install if you plan on using this. You should never use any kind of test software such as beta releases on real environments because they can always fail.

I think they are really desperate right now and are just franticly posting to try to keep the users from burning down the corporate headquarters. On 10MAY2011 Sony gave a PSN update with a “Restoration Timeline” that had no times or dates. Matter fact the only thing they said other than they can’t give an exact date is that it “May” be a few more days.

Another Useless Sony Update

So I am very frustrated with Sony and its worthless hardware. With that said I went on a “Fuck you Sony” Google rampage search to look for anti-Sony stuff. Well watch this video because this is exactly how millions of people like myself feel.

Hey, I just want to say HAPPY HOLIDAYS to everyone. Have a great x-mas and a great new years.

So a lot has been going on and I just want to keep everyone in the loop with all the changes. I have started working on a lot of projects and killed some of them because I no longer find interest in them.

SysSU Changes

1. As you can see I changed the layout a little bit to make it more easy on me to update the site design and got rid of some of the DEAD links.
2. I added a Topics page so anyone can quickly and easily access and view all the topics on this site.
3. Added more iPhone compatibility check it out on your iPhone.

Secret iPhone Site Project

This is one of the projects, and mainly the ONLY project anyone really knew about that I decided to kill. I decided instead of making it just for the iPhone I want to be able to use it with any device and make it public open source code for everyone to use.  Below are some screen shots of what the “CD Keys database” looks like so far.
