It may be too late to win Dropquest but it is not too late to use it to get an extra 1GB of space on Dropbox. If you finish the 2012 Dropquest you will get a total of 1GB of extra space. The best part about it is I have found the complete guide full of the answers, so that means you don’t even have to try. So I recently got an iPad 3rd generation and noticed that I had no way to open links that I’m currently looking at on the computer on the iPad. After some searching for a resolution to my problem, I came across AirLink from http://thethingsido.net. Installing AirLink is real easy, you actually do not install anything, you just save a bookmark on your computer and on your iOS device. When visiting a page you want to view on your iOS device, you simply click the AirLink bookmark on the iOS device and then the AirLink bookmark on your computer.

I’m a big Dropbox fan, I use it to backup all my documents, pictures, and ebooks. I also use it to share files to people very fast and easily. With DROPitTOme people can now share files to you fast and easy as well. All the person had to do is go to your DROPitTOme URL, enter your password, and upload the file. The file then gets uploaded to your Dropbox account in a folder called “DROPitTOme,” and of course it gets synced to your computer. Setting up the DROPitTOme account is also very easy!

Where Did I Find This? Lifehacker

Who would of thought this was a real game? I see people playing a different version of this game all the time, I always seem to lose. 

Thanks to Lifehacker I was able to come across this really cool extension for Google Chrome where you can now use the Google Chat outside of your browser. It is an extension though so I think it still relies on you having Google Chrome running, but other than that it should make life easier for noticing when people are messaging you, and you do not have to switch back and froth between tabs to chat.

As pointed out by Lifehacker you can always install a 3rd party multi-protocol chat client, but this is an official release by Google, and I hope it is lightweight.

Google Chrome version 16 now supports multiple session or users on the same computer. This makes it easy for developers to quickly do session based testing. This is also great if you sync your bookmarks to Google and you want to be able to use two users bookmarks without having to login/out of each user to view the different bookmarks. There are a bunch of other great reasons to use this, but this is just another reason to love Chrome

If you do not know what SOPA is then maybe you should Google it, at least until they ban Google. Anyways here is a cool video for you to watch. 

Facebook has just released their new “Timeline” look to the public. To get it up and running go here and click “Get Timeline”.

Charter has decided to give its customers a speed boost. The new plans start at 3Mbps for $19.99 and go up to the Ultra plan of 100Mbps for $59.99 a month. But beware this is plans with a 12 month bundled contract, so if you just want the internet expect an increase in prices. It should also be noted that although the downloads are drastically increasing the uploads max out at 5Mbps for the Ultra plan.  The biggest concern that I see is that Charter does not mention if the bandwidth caps have been increased to match the new speeds or if they stayed the same.
