This is also great if you sync your bookmarks to Google and you want to be able to use two users bookmarks without having to login/out of each user to view the different bookmarks. There are a bunch of other great reasons to use this, but this is just another reason to love Chrome

Charter has decided to give its customers a speed boost. The new plans start at 3Mbps for $19.99 and go up to the Ultra plan of 100Mbps for $59.99 a month. But beware this is plans with a 12 month bundled contract, so if you just want the internet expect an increase in prices. It should also be noted that although the downloads are drastically increasing the uploads max out at 5Mbps for the Ultra plan. The biggest concern that I see is that Charter does not mention if the bandwidth caps have been increased to match the new speeds or if they stayed the same.

I hate having to watch advertisements in YouTube videos before I can watch the actual clip. I hate it even more when the advertisements can be longer than the actual movie or you see the same advertisement 10 times in a row. With this cool Google Chrome extension you can skip the ads with just a click of a button. The creator also claims that it will always work, and legal. Once you have installed the extension just go to a YouTube video with advertisements and hit the “Blue Play” button at the top of the video next to the title (See Image).

If you head on over to Firefox you can now get their latest browser version number 7. The newest version supposivley improves memory handling and is suppose to be faster than some of the other browsers.

Lifehacker wrote:

Firefox 7 improves memory handling significantly, something we noticed in our tests and the folks at Mozilla Hacks pointed out as well-especially when compared to Firefox 6. Firefox 7 boasts a number of other small improvements as well: the http:// prefix is hidden in all places, bookmark and password changes sync near-instantly with Firefox Sync, and the usual round of bug and stability improvements were included.

I’ll give you a hint, usually files go to Usenet type groups before they hit BitTorrent groups. Ghacks points out that with your free account “You get free life time access, a solid 600 day retention, no IP retention, no personal details on file. All you need to do to sign up is to enter information into the registration form on the providers homepage.”

If you have never tried to code because you are unsure where to start or just afraid of what it would be like or any other reason like that then you should take the time to check out this really cool website called Codecademy.com where you learn to do basic coding such as; variables, strings, arrays, while loops, and if statements. With this simple to use and understand but still very educational interface you will soon be on your way to becoming a well tuned coder.

I think one of the coolest things about the site is the fact that it is social. What this means is you can easily keep track and share your progress with anyone. I even think with this feature we might see beginner programing classes using this as a entry level tool to begin and learn how to code.
